This workshop uses the Business Model Canvas to help you focus on your enterprise vision and break down how to achieve it on a single clear page.

Workshop offered by the SHU Enterprise Team dedicated to the Business Model Canvas. The Business Model Canvas gives you the structure of a business plan. We will be covering the need to know information regarding the Business Canvas Model as a business start-up template. The Business canvas model is a model that you use to define the components of your business. It offers an interactive way to look at your current business model and improve your results. It's a way to keep moving forward with an iterative business plan.

What will be covered?
-Explain the concept and how it works.
-Run through an example of how to complete it.
-Take the group through the step-by-step process of completing one for their own idea.
-Closing discussion/feedback on potential usefulness as a planning tool, not only for their new business but also for organising individual marketing/promotional campaigns such as when a new product launches or seasonal campaigns such as Christmas.

This session will be useful for those with an enterprising idea, business start-ups and developing businesses. This session will also be useful for those overwhelmed with the idea of starting your business plan and don't know where to start, offering a useful template to work with!
